Ride & Learn is Back.....With a Twist!!!

After announcing the end of the road for Ride & Learn in 2008, we received a deluge of emails and calls from our loyal friends expressing their disappointment that our Rides were coming to an end. We realized that after 35 Rides we had built an incredible community of people committed to our unique brand of dental continuing education. Well, we listened to you!!! We are thrilled to announce we are back...with a twist.

We will provide one Ride & Learn trip each year.  Our rides will no longer be for profit, but rather a "Club" of dentists that share a passion for our unique brand of continuing education.

We are thrilled to announce that our 2009 Ride & Learn 'Club' event is the Grand Canyon Ride scheduled for Sept. 30th-Oct. 3rd.  This adventure will depart and end in Scottsdale, Arizona.  If you have never attended one of our Grand Canyon Rides, this is a 'must attend' event. If you have been on this ride, we have some amazing surprises for you this year.

As we move forward with our new format, here's what you can expect from us:

  • The same world-class continuing education you have experienced on past trips

  • Lower cost---------Each guest will simply be responsible for their own expenses

  • A voice regarding future trips-----------At the Celebration Dinner on Saturday evening you will have the opportunity to suggest future destinations for Ride & Learn Club--------If you don't attend-----You have no voice!

  • The same organization and attention to detail that you have come to expect from us. We will have a support truck and trailer for the luggage and continue to provide all the support that makes these trips such a great experience (thanks Mari!!)

So.......come join the new Ride & Learn Club! Make plans now to attend the 2009 Grand Canyon Ride. Just give Mari a call at 480-951-1652 or email her at mari@takacslearningcenter.com to reserve your place.

AN AWESOME ITINERARY!

Riding Harley Davidson motorcycles in the state of Arizona is the ultimate expression of Freedom! The state of Arizona offers a tremendous variety of surroundings that we will take full advantage of on this trip. From the spectacular Sonoran Desert to the Red Rock Country of Sedona to the seemingly endless Alpine Forests of Ponderosa Pine to the incomparable Grand Canyon; this trip literally has it all. Now, throw in some phenomenal motorcycle roads (two specific roads are listed in the ‘10 Best Motorcycle Roads in the U.S.’), and it sweetens the trip even further. All of this is combined with some of the best continuing education available in dentistry today, making this trip a ‘must attend’ on your calendar. You will be thrilled you did!

After lunch we ride to the delightful town of Jerome on Highway 89A (considered ‘one of the top 10 motorcycle roads in the U.S.’). After an ice cream and shopping break in the artsy town of Jerome we ride to our overnight destination of Sedona, located in the heart of Red Rock Country (If you have never visited Sedona, you are in for a real treat!).

Today will be one the most diverse days you will ever experience on a motorcycle. We will start by riding out the East Entrance to the Grand Canyon, which provides stunning views of the Canyon and the Colorado River.
